setting intentions
setting intentions is easy. the hard part is manifesting it through consistent and committed work.

in practice, a couple of guiding principles can help:

1) align your intentions with your purpose, your dharma

what are you here 🌎 to do?
the answer to this question is bigger than
a thing you can own,
a place you can go to,
a career you can build.
the answer to this question permeates your entire existence.
the answer to this question is not something to be decided,
but to be discovered.

your purpose might change and evolve with time. how you fulfill your purpose might change and evolve with time. it might be as broad as to help people, but most likely it has a quality of service towards humans and nature.

so, when setting intentions and goals, phrase them in light of your higher purpose.

2) identify and address the resistance

too often we make plans and set goals with no consideration of the sources of resistance to achieving success. resistance can be internal (ex. limitings beliefs or unsupportive habits), or external (ex. lack of money or opportunity).

the simple exercise of identifying the biggest source of resistance to a given goal can go a long way in increasing the likelihood of achieving it, because once you know what the resistance is, you can address it.

i created the designs below to help you do just that. pick your favourite colour scheme, and save it to your device. you can do a year long plan, and each month focus on sets of categories with refinements. assign one intention to each category, and recognize its biggest resistance. keep a reminder of it, somewhere close and visible, to build consistency.
